Valerie is a mom who has a passion for instilling Christian values and disciplines in youth. She is a Sunday school teacher and VBS director at LaHarpe Christian Church. Valerie is a 1993 graduate of Jacksonville High School, and a 1998 graduate of Western Illinois University with a degree in Industrial Education and Technology. She moved to the area after marrying her college sweetheart! Together they raise their three children on the family farm. Valerie homeschools their daughters, Emily and Megan (ages 9 and 8), while chasing their active 2-year-old son, Eli. Valerie is a huge fan of ice cream, and enjoys playing board games, baking, running, ziplining, bike rides, and reading.
